I’m Ryan Watkins, a Utah-based creative producer, director, and editor with more than 15 years of experience creating cinematic, human-centered stories.
From commercials and branded campaigns to documentaries, live events, social trends, flying drones, and motion graphics — I shape every project around a human emotion.
Utah is home — where I live and where I grew up. My faith and family are at the center of my life, and they keep me grounded in what matters most. When I’m not making videos, I’m usually spending time with my kids, building things, writing music, developing new stories, working out, or convincing myself that another freezing cold plunge is a good idea.
My creative journey began with a love for the arts and the way a well-told story can help people feel something. That passion led me to study filmmaking at Utah Valley University and eventually build a career spanning more than 15 years in storytelling and video production.
I do this work because I believe stories connect us to each other. Great visuals may capture your attention, but it’s the emotion and human connection that makes you want more. Whether I’m creating a commercial, social trend, executive message, or narrative film, my goal remains the same: make it clear, make it human, and make it matter.
